Prior to the Apocalypse, Briggs and Stratton was one of the world's largest producer of engines and engine parts. Specializing in air-cooled engines used primarily in things like lawn mowers and generators, the plant has provided useful motors and motor parts to the post apocalyptic world. However, having been scoured over by many scavengers over the decades, pretty much anything that can be lifted has been looted, but the large machines used to make the engines still stand in silence, waiting to be used again. |
